Delargent Design is an experienced Merrick, Long Island-based Architecture firm, founded by Marcelo Kohan, RA, AIA in 2011, dedicated to serving all of its clients’ residential and commercial needs, throughout New York, Long Island, and New Jersey. Our team of talented draftsman, expeditors, code consultants, and engineers provide the expertise necessary to run every project from conception to completion. Services can be offered in Spanish if preferred.

Marcelo Kohan is a registered Architect licensed in Merrick, New York and New Jersey, and an active member in the Queens and Long Island chapters of the American Institute of Architects (AIA). Marcelo gained his experience in some of the finest Architectural offices in New York including The Spector Group, SLCE Architects and Fakler, Eliason & Porcelli Architects. He participated in the creation of a wide variety of exciting buildings. With each project and each building, Marcelo gained the knowledge needed to forge his own path which led to his opening own firm, Delargent Design Architecture, P.C.in 2011.

Marcelo was my architect for my urgent care center in Bellerose, NY, and I have had the experience of dealing with different architect when I opened my first center in Hicksville, Long Island. My experience the second time around has certainly been more rewarding.I find Marcelo more dedicated as a professional architect than any of the others I have dealt with. He knows all the rules and regulations so you can avoid the pit falls that can arise when you are seeking DOB approval. With his vast experience, and his attention to detail I was really glad I had Marcelo on my side.I highly reccomend him as an architect for any job you may have.
